Lou Posner, a dedicated proponent of education, intimately understands the challenges of finance study in college. In 2023, he introduced the Lou Posner Scholarship to alleviate the financial burdens of higher education and support students in realizing their academic dreams. Mr. Posner, the driving force behind this transformative scholarship, brings over 15 years of structured finance experience. Currently serving as the Portfolio Manager and Principal at Auctus Fund Management, LLC, a distinguished private investment company and hedge fund, Mr. Posner previously held pivotal roles as a Senior Banker and Vice President of Finance at Summer Street Research Partners. His professional journey includes diverse positions with Lehman Brothers, Fechtor Detwiler, Gruntal & Co., and AG Edwards as a registered representative. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mr. Posner held the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licenses, registering as a general securities principal for 15 years. This wealth of experience enhances the credibility of the Lou Posner Scholarship, making it a beacon of support for aspiring students nationwide.
